1. Who We Are

LifeOS is built and operated by Melbourne AI Hub, Melbourne, Australia (ABN pending). When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean LifeOS.

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect data that you directly provide:

• Account info: Email address (for login via Supabase Auth, Google OAuth, or magic link)
• Profile data: Name, avatar, and preferences you set in the app
• App data: Goals, tasks, habits, journal entries, health metrics, financial records, and any other content you create in LifeOS
• Payment info: Billing is not live during early access, so we do not currently ask for or store payment details.

3. What We Don't Collect

• We don't use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising SDKs
• We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone
• We don't read your journal entries, goals, or health data for any purpose other than displaying them to you

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored in Supabase (built on PostgreSQL), hosted in Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2). Supabase provides:

• Row Level Security (RLS) — you can only access your own data
• Encryption at rest and in transit
• SOC 2 Type II compliance

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure provider, but LifeOS is not end-to-end encrypted. Access is restricted per-account by row-level security.

5. Payments

LifeOS does not currently process payments in early access. If paid plans launch later, payments will be processed by Stripe:

• Your payment details will go directly to Stripe; we will not handle card numbers
• Stripe stores your card info under their PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure
• We may receive a Stripe customer ID, plan, and subscription status so the app can unlock paid entitlements

6. AI Features

LifeOS includes an AI assistant. When you use it:

• Your messages are sent through the LifeOS AI backend and configured AI providers for processing
• We don't store conversation history beyond what's needed for the current session
• We do not use your app data to train LifeOS models. Provider processing is governed by the relevant provider terms and privacy commitments.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Access all your data at any time through the app
• Export or retrieve your data where app tooling exists, or contact us for help
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Correct any inaccurate data directly in the app

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. No tracking cookies. No cookie banner needed because we're not doing anything shady.

9. Data Retention

Your data stays as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove all your data within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days before being purged.

10. Children

LifeOS is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as LifeOS evolves. Significant changes will be communicated in-app. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
